Looking To Sell a Machine?

We’re very active in the used market.
If you’ve got pavement maintenance, recycling, or mixing equipment you want to move, we can usually help one of three ways:

We buy select machines outright
We take trades when you’re upgrading
We consign equipment and sell it on your behalf

Our focus is on equipment like:
Asphalt distributors and tack/prime sprayers
Chip spreaders and tailgate spreaders
Pugmills and cold feed bins Asphalt recyclers and pothole patchers
Hot boxes, infrared heaters, and patch trucks

If you’re not sure whether your machine fits, ask—we’ll give you a straight yes/no.

Option 1

We Buy Your Machine

For certain units that fit our market, age, and condition requirements, we may buy the equipment outright.

Faster cash, no waiting for a retail buyer
Simple paperwork and clear terms
You’re done with the machine and off the hook

If we’re not a buyer, we’ll say so and move you to consignment or other options if appropriate.

Option 2

Trade-In

If you’re upgrading to one of our brands (STRATOS, OLYMPUS, AmeriPatcher, AmeriSpreader) or another machine we’re selling, a trade-in may be possible.

We evaluate your machine
Apply an agreed value toward your purchase
You avoid the hassle of fielding tire-kicker calls and emails

Trade-ins are case-by-case and depend on demand, timing, and condition.

Option 3

Zero-Cost Consignment

Don’t want to handle selling at all? We can list your machine on zero-cost consignment:

No upfront fees – we only get paid if and when it sells
We handle the photos, listing, buyer calls, and negotiations Your machine is marketed across PavementGroup.com, partner platforms, and our buyer network
You keep ownership until the transaction funds

Typical consignors include contractors, municipalities, banks, leasing companies, and dealers.

What We Need To Get Started

To evaluate your machine, we’ll ask for:

Make, model, and year
Serial number
Current location
Hours/mileage
Photos (all sides, controls, key components)
Recent repairs or known issues

From there, we’ll talk through realistic pricing, timing, and whether buy, trade, or consign makes the most sense.
