NiCAT-10A Mobile Asphalt Plant

The NiCAT10A Asphalt Plant attaches directly to your skidstter for quick and mobile patching.  The technology was designed for the US Air Force and is currently being deployed by the USAF at airfields around the world for producing virgin hot mix to USAF specifications.  The system is now available for commercial use.  The NiCat-10A is designed to heat pre-packaged 50 bags of DOT approved mix or USAF spec mix.

NiPac 50Lb DOT Bag Mix: comes pre-packaged in 50 Lb bags and is most commonly formulated to DOT 64-22 or 76-22 mix specifications.  NiPac can be packaged to meet your exact specifications.   (For information on NiPac view 'Related Products' on this websit page. 

Recycling: The NiCAT10A can also be used to recycle asphalt millings into quality hot mix whenever a DOT spec is 'not' required.  This gives contractors, city, county and state DOT's the flexibility to make DOT mix or recycled mix any time of year, reducing their reliance on the local hot mix plants.

History: The NiCat10A Mixer was built to the specifications of the Air Force Research Lab and fabricated by NiTech for the US Air Force. The NiCat 10A was designed to mix NiPak pelletized asphalt mix and produce Air Force approved material for runway repairs. The multimillion dollar research and testing project was conducted by the US Air Force and enen  involved building a temporary runway, detonating explosives to simulate damage caused in theater and then product testing in real time.  Engineering and laboratory testing proved that the NiPak pelletized asphalt system met the USAF qualifications for rapid runway repair with virtually no rutting. As a result the NiCat systems is being deployed to USAF bases around the world.

Skidsteer Attachment Details: The NiCAT10A fits on to the CAT-C277 and CAT-C279.  The optional NiCAT 11A fits virtually any skidsteer using standard connectiong mount points and 2 hydraulic lines for the mixer. The NiCat 10A is designed to rapidly attach to your skidsteer loader.  Power is supplied by the skidsteer using quick connects to the skidsteer's hydraulics, electrics, and fuel supply.  The mixer can be mounted in just minutes. Place your 50 pound bags of pre-packaged mix into the mixer and rotate heater to run position.  The skid steer operator controls the mixer rotation, heating, and dumping from the operator console.
