Patch Trucks - Our units are a municipal favorite, as an efficient way of heating, hauling and discharging hot mix asphalt for roadway repairs. Most appreciated during winter use, patch trucks are commonly used year round providing 4-7cy of hot mix asphalt for demanding jobs. A screw auger and shoveling platform make unloading a snap. Auto temperature controls allow cold and hot mix asphalt temperatures to be adjusted from 0-400F.
Our STPH patch truck is available in 4 and 5 cubic yards. The patch body features a diesel or propane (customer's choice) double-jacketed heat transfer oil system. This provides even heat to the hot mix. Heated cross members prevent asphalt bridging. Hydraulic, double insulated top doors open a full 270 degrees, facilitating easy loading and preventing possible damage during loading. Standard features include auger feed discharge and a folding shoveling platform. Options include tack spray system, toolbox, hose rack, flush tank, overnight heaters (for hopper and kettle), compactor carrier, hydraulic jack hammer and spoils bin. With safety in mind, the STPH features curbside operational controls, flame-out-auto-shutoff and optional arrow board.
Hot Pack, our newest engineering innovation, offers users a 1.3 ton hot box designed to fit into a 1-ton dump truck body. This unit is designed for top loading with dual overhead doors. The oil jacketed heating system ensures even heating of every batch without scorching the mix. complete with auto temperature controls and shoveling platform. With an Empty Weight of 2400lb, the unit allows a full load to be hauled in a 1-ton dump truck. Dimensions are 128 long x 44 High x 84 Wide. Heating is powered from the trucks electrical system utilizing a trailer plug. An automatic leveling 28 high shovel platform is the right height for ideal comfort. This unit also offers digital temperature display and voltage gauge. An optional overnight electric heater keeps mix hot throughout the night. Ideal for Hot mix and/or cold Patch.
Our 4 cubic yard (5.2 ton) and 5.0cy hotboxes (6.5 ton) are designed to Slip-In to your dump truck body. Our patch bodies offer a rugged design making them ideal for heating, hauling, storing and dispensing hot mix asphalt or cold mix asphalt products. Our diesel fired systems are Air Jacketed and can be ordered with several options including a heated tack tank and automatic temperature controls, among others. These units are well insulated and their simple design offers a trouble free delivery system making them perfect for all street and road repairs.
