Hot Boxes / Asphalt Reclaimers - Our hot box reclaimers are designed to heat, reheat, reclaim and recycle asphalt materials and are available in trailer, truck, or slip-in style mounting. Hot boxes allow contractors and municipalities to haul heated asphalt while the thermostat maintains hot mix temperature. Ideal for winter use. Tilt and auger discharge are available. Asphalt chunks can be reclaimed via an over-night heater. Our asphalt recyclers recycle RAP asphalt pieces into quality reuseable hotmix.
Our hot boxes are designed for exceptional performance in sub-freezing weather allowing you to maintain hot mix temperature all year round. We offer you a choice of diesel or propane fired system in 1.5, 2.0, and 3.0 cubic yard capacities. Our curbside control panel offers safe operation of burners, overnight heater and temperature settings. The stainless steel flue liner is replaceable for affordable upkeep. A central heat riser prevents bridging & provides ultra-fast heat-up time. Large insulated top loading doors can be configured to open side to side or front and rear and manually or hydraulically operated. Options include an electric overnight heater, shovel cleaning compartment, spray-down system, compaction carrier and heated tack system gravity flow or with spray nozzle.
Hot Pack, our newest engineering innovation, offers users a 1.3 ton hot box designed to fit into a 1-ton dump truck body. This unit is designed for top loading with dual overhead doors. The oil jacketed heating system ensures even heating of every batch without scorching the mix. complete with auto temperature controls and shoveling platform. With an Empty Weight of 2400lb, the unit allows a full load to be hauled in a 1-ton dump truck. Dimensions are 128 long x 44 High x 84 Wide. Heating is powered from the trucks electrical system utilizing a trailer plug. An automatic leveling 28 high shovel platform is the right height for ideal comfort. This unit also offers digital temperature display and voltage gauge. An optional overnight electric heater keeps mix hot throughout the night. Ideal for Hot mix and/or cold Patch.
Our 4 cubic yard (5.2 ton) and 5.0cy hotboxes (6.5 ton) are designed to Slip-In to your dump truck body. Our patch bodies offer a rugged design making them ideal for heating, hauling, storing and dispensing hot mix asphalt or cold mix asphalt products. Our diesel fired systems are Air Jacketed and can be ordered with several options including a heated tack tank and automatic temperature controls, among others. These units are well insulated and their simple design offers a trouble free delivery system making them perfect for all street and road repairs.
